Quincy Raceway in Quincy Ill is having an Eve of destruction on memorial day may 28th. Its on a monday night which is a little unusual. The ad says they r having a demo derby, bus races,Daredevil stunts, Fireworks, and much more. It doesnt list a start time but the number there is 217-224-3343. Admission is $10 adults teens 11-15 $4 kids 6-10 $1 Seniors $7 Pit passes $20. Me and a friend of mine r planning on making a roady to it.

So?....How was it guys? I would liked to have gone but I was dead tired from working almost 30 hours Memorial day weekend, not to mention all the house work and yard work and Katie's graduation. I went to bed at 7 p.m. and slept for over 12 hours.

well i didnt go. i talked to a freind of mine he said it wasn't very good. i think he said a 77ish lincoln took 1st, a gm (?year) took 2nd.......dont know any names or anything

Just as well....probably would have cost more to pay for the gas to make the round trip than it would to purchase a pit pass.

Last time I filled the Firebird up at $3.29/gal....it cost me $45.00. That's ridiculous!

i ran monday night in an 86 ford. chevy powered of course. went down there built to tha rules,had to change a bunch of bs just to run. while the let others slide by i wont b back i doubt. guess when everyone hears a car with a lil hp undre tha hood they get scared and its downhill from there. no i dont gripe much but monday night was a lil dissapointing to me.
